Metric Wing Nuts are intended for low-torque applications because finger pressure alone is used to tighten and loosen, which makes them ideal for assemblies that are adjusted or disassembled frequently. They consist of a cone-shaped nut and two wings directly opposite each other. DIN 315 are cast and DIN 315 CF are cold formed and referred to as American style. All have coarse machine screw threads; materials include steel and stainless steel; and zinc plated steel can be supplied.
